[1]               Jocelyn Davies: I welcome Members to this meeting of the Finance Committee. I remind you to switch off your mobile phones, because they interfere with the electronic equipment. We are not expecting a fire drill, so if you hear an alarm, please follow directions from the ushers. We have received just one apology, from Ieuan Wyn Jones, and we are expecting Christine Chapman to join us shortly.

[2]               Jocelyn Davies: Members, you will have seen the letter from Community Housing Cymru, which was unable to attend to give us oral evidence on our inquiry into asset management. Are Members happy with that letter? I see that you are.

[3]               We have also had a reply from the Minister, Jane Hutt, in relation to our invest-to-save report and recommendations. You will notice that the recommendations are accepted. I think that there is a caveat attached to one recommendation, because she requires information from the Minister for Local Government and Government Business. We have a debate on this on 22 May. Is everyone pleased with that?

[4]               Mike Hedges: I am very pleased.

[5]               Jocelyn Davies: I thought that you would be.
